Celebrate Juneteenth with performances, vendors, activities and more.
Woodlawn celebrates Juneteenth with an array of vendors, local authors, performances and activities for all ages. Activities include Summer Reading Challenge sign up, tie-dye and tarot reading and reiki session. On the Ball With Spinny performance from 11 a.m.-noon, Cardamom & Clove Henna from noon-1:30 p.m., Baba Got Bars performing from 1-2 p.m. and a discussion panel with the Chief of Programs at Urban Libraries Council, Michelle Hamiel, and the owner of Urban Reads Bookstore, Tia Hamilton, from 3-4 p.m. Recommended: Bring your own clothing to tie-dye.
