Celebrate the Woodlawn Branch's upcoming renovation with a construction-themed story time, performances by Woodlawn High School students, a renovation kickoff ceremony and refreshments.
The schedule is as follows:
10 a.m. | Construction-themed story time with free construction hats for kids while supplies last.
10 a.m.-1 p.m. | Play in Storyville and say farewell.
10:30-11 a.m. | Musical entertainment by Woodlawn High School band and selfie spots for commemorative pictures.
11 a.m. | Ceremony with local dignitaries and launch of renovation.
11:30 a.m. | Reveal of renderings of the renovation. Refreshments served.
Visit our new temporary location at 6660 Security Boulevard opening Monday, October 6.
