Caregivers need support too. Learn strategies to navigate the emotional challenges of being a caregiver.
Being a primary caregiver for family members and loved ones comes with rewards but also challenges, which can include feeling overwhelmed and isolated. Rosanne Corcoran, host of Daughterhood the Podcast: For Caregivers, discusses her journey providing care for her mother who had vascular dementia. She shares strategies to manage the stress of caregiving, including setting boundaries, managing expectations and how caregivers can support themselves and receive support from others. Includes a Q&A session addressing both practical and emotional aspects of caregiving.
This program is made possible by a grant from the Baltimore County Department of Aging’s Caregiver Support Program.
