Catonsville Meeting RoomThe Family Literacy ESOL program is for non-native speaking parents. These classes are designed to help parents learn English language skills: for life, work and to help with their child's education.
ELIGIBILITY: You must have a child aged birth–16 living in your home who is either attending a Baltimore County Public School, a partner private school or the Judy Center of Baltimore County. You also must be at least 18 years old and not enrolled in or planning to attend high school. F-1 or J-1 visa holders are not eligible.
COST: No cost for the class. Grant-funded. *You will need to purchase a student textbook and workbook set, available at any CCBC campus bookstore.
ATTEND A WALK-IN REGISTRATION: Registrations are in-person only; no advanced online, phone or mail-in registration. Please arrive no later than 10 a.m.
TESTING: Testing is onsite and may take two-three hours.
